Role & Requirements
You will be part of a team at the station providing assistance to customers joining and leaving trains and particularly looking out for customers with special needs. You must ensure that trains leave the station safely and punctually, by carrying out train dispatch duties. As part of our service quality regime you may also be responsible for the maintenance and presentation of the station environment including station, domestic and office cleaning (this may also involve snow and ice clearing from platforms and footbridges in the winter months). You must also ensure that all areas of the station are hazard free by carrying out security, health and safety and environmental checks.
It' s essential that you have previous front line customer service experience involving maintenance and cleaning. Ideally you will be used to working with health and safety at work procedures and COSHH regulations. You must be customer focused with good communication skills and be able to demonstrate initiative and work well with minimum supervision. Ideally you should stay locally or be able to drive.

Hours of work
An average of 35 hours per week Monday to Saturday over period of roster, includes shift and weekend working. May include occasional Sunday working. Early starts and late finishes are involved so you must be able to get to and from work.
Reference Salary & Benefits
