Full Description:
My client is a wholly independent, employee-owned company with 12,000 staff, turnover of £600 million and work in 100 countries for public and private sector customers world-wide. In 2007, the Sunday Times ranked them one of the top big companies to work for.

They are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their expanding office who will contribute to a friendly and dynamic atmosphere.

Key responsibilities will include:
* Involvement in a project or small portfolio of projects of various sizes.
*Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge and appreciation of current engineering codes and practices and taking a 'hands on' role in technical matters.
*Developing relationships with key clients

Qualifications and Competencies:
*A Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
*An excellent track record in business development.
*Excellent interpersonal skills.
*A sound understanding of Scottish, UK and EU construction regulation and administration.
*Current UK Driving licence.
