Job Description

A part time New Business Development Manager is needed in Inverness, Scotland.

This organisation provides university-level education through a unique partnership of colleges and research institutions located throughout the Highlands & Islands. Designated as a higher education institution in 2001, they are working together to create a fully established university.

Location: Inverness, Scotland Salary: £32,232 to 37,365 PRO RATA Terms: Part Time, 21 hours per week Benefits: 39 days holiday & final salary pension

As a Business Development Manager you support the Clinical Research Facility (CRF) Manager in ensuring that maximum financial and commercial benefit to the CRF is achieved. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of business development strategies.

FOR THIS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER ROLE, YOU MUST POSSESS:

• €¢ A relevant degree or equivalent in a core science or economic related discipline

• €¢ A track record of supporting successful revenue generation and/or grant capture and commercialisation

• €¢ Excellent interpersonal and networking skills – the role involves minimal supervision

• €¢ Several years experience working in marketing or business development

• €¢ Excellent multimedia, IT and presentation skills
