We require a Clerk of Works based in Inverness, ideally with a trades background, to ensure that all maintenance, construction & modernisation of the clients properties are completed to standard.
More specifically the Clerk of Works will -
Carry out performance measurement surveys of properties and provide comprehensive, accurate, costed reports.
Carry out inspection of maintenance, construction and modernisation works.
Provide technical advice.
Maintain work required database for properties.
Assist in the preparation and implementation of standards and schedules of maintenance works.
Assist in the preparation and implementation of annual revenue maintenance contracts.
Process all requests received from properties in the area, including, where necessary, survey of the problem, complete risk assessments, issue work orders to contractors.
Carry out inspection of completed works and authorisation of invoices.
Examine design proposals and, where necessary, provide technical assessments and propose alternative solutions.
Ensure work is completed on time and to budget and agreed quality standards.
