An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Civil Design Engineer to join an established civil engineering consultancy based in Dingwall.
Although experienced in most areas of civil engineeringthey operate principally in the field of marine and floating structures - piers, harbours, ferry terminals, slipways, breakwaters, pontoons, dredging and coastal protection
Theyare committed to providing the full range of in-house professional services to the projects on whichthey are engaged.
Graduate Engineers should have an honours degree and not less than two years post graduate experience, and should be familiar with the design of structures in reinforced concrete and steel, preferably with a good working knowledge of relevant design software.
Candidates should be seeking to develop their skills as marine works designers, should be keen to improve their communication skills, and should be progressing towards Chartered status.
Successful candidates may be offered the opportunity to train as commercial divers (if they wish), although it should be noted that we employ both diving and non-diving engineering staff and this is not a requirement for the post.
In return they are offering the successful candidate an excellent renumeration package including a salary between £24-29000.
